The Global Scholar Award started with a belief that has guided Mielle from the beginning — that investing in young people is one of the most powerful things we can do.

It began at the University of the Arts London, where Monique Rodriguez took the stage and spoke to a room full of young people about what a future in beauty could look like. For one scholar in that audience, everything shifted.

That scholar was Estelle Morris, our inaugural Global Scholar Award recipient. Her passion, vision, and dedication to advancing new perspectives in beauty made a lasting impression on our panel.
