MiSpace Grants

A Mindful Investment in Teen Well-Being

A $1M strategic initiative advancing teen mental health across Chicago’s communities.

We proudly provide MiSpace Grants to Chicago area community centers.

The MiSpace Grant represents the largest single investment to date by Mielle Cares and reflects our organization's ongoing mission to empower the next generation of trailblazers by supporting their emotional and mental well-being. Each selected community center will receive between $75,000 and $500,000 to implement youth mental health programming including group therapy, mindfulness-based practices, narrative therapy, and arts-based healing. Programs will serve youth ages 11–18 who often face systemic barriers to accessing care.

How it Works

MiSpace Grants support a variety of therapeutic programs at participating community centers, including group therapy sessions, mindfulness-based therapies, arts therapies, and more.

Each MiSpace-funded program or service is built upon a key component of our Mielle Method approach to youth mental wellness, which emphasizes mindfulness practices, lifelong learning, skill building, and personal growth and development.

Striving toward meaningful, long-term change, our MiSpace Grants not only enable the initial creation or expansion of these youth mental health offerings but additionally provide the resources for our partners to maintain them over time.
